Good technique and a thorough knowledge of keys can only be a good thing!

There are various booklets in this section for clarinet, saxophone and flute — the same plan is followed for each instrument, but accommodating the range of each one correctly. In every case I have tried to approach the presentation of scales and arpeggios in a logical and progressive fashion, always paying attention to the relationship between keys and thinking about the steps you might take in building up your technical armoury. Never try to learn too much at once, but be consistent in your practice.
