Saxophone & Clarinet Scales & Exercises

It is a shame that exam boards are becoming less rigorous about scales, and that when they are examined there does not always seem to be a logical pattern to the way they are presented through the grades. In particular I am at a loss to explain why both harmonic and melodic minor scales are not required until grade 6, although I suppose any scales are better than none at all. It seems to me that all keys should be studied in as much detail as possible, so I have produced a number of worksheets starting with C major / A minor and working through each key . . . . or at least that is the intention once they are finished. What I have done so far is available by clicking on the links below. They are available here in pdf format; if you would like copies of the Sibelius files in order to help me develop the ideas and contribute to the resources in any way, please write to me.
